This course is ideal for those looking to progress from FREC3 working in the ambulance industry.
The course comprises a mixture of lectures, practical demonstrations, hands-on practice and scenarios. The assessment process includes both theory exams and practical assessments of skills learnt. In addition to the 5 days of face-to-face learning, an additional 118 hours of self-directed study should include additional reading and applied practice. We understand that there is confusion about this - our trainers will provide more information about these hours if your face to face sessions, this study should ultimately be relevant to your individual area of work and likely patients and situations you will encounter.
Duration: 5 days
Certificate: Rolling as long an annual ILS qualification is undertaken and holders maintain a log of continued professional development (CPD)
Minimum age: 18 years on first day of training
Must hold a valid FREC 3 certificate
