This course is ideal for those looking to progress from FREC3 working in the ambulance industry.

The course comprises a mixture of lectures, practical demonstrations, hands-on practice and scenarios. The assessment process includes both theory exams and practical assessments of skills learned. In addition to the 5 days of face-to-face learning, 118 hours of self-directed study should include reading and applied practice. We understand there is some confusion about this. Our trainers will provide more information about these hours during your face-to-face sessions. This study should ultimately be relevant to your individual area of work and the likely patients and situations you will encounter.

Duration: 5 days

Certificate: Rolling as long as an annual ILS qualification is undertaken and holders maintain a log of continued professional development (CPD)

Minimum age: 18 years on the first day of training

Must hold a valid FREC 3 certificate
